It's called Space Key and created in collaboration with an unidentified artist and inspired by a piece advanced carbon fiber composite material that was shipped to the International Space Station for research purposes.

The new project - called the Space Key - is a work of art that was made by a collaboration with a lone artist. The physical element of Space Key

After weeks of posts on social media that hint at it, luxury car manufacturer Lamborghini has finally revealed its first non-fungible token (NFT) project. The Space Key is a collection of five physical items that will unlock a special digital art by an unknown artist. Each Space Key contains a block composed of a carbon-fire composite material. It was shipped to the International Space Station as part of a research project for 2019. After returning to Earth the block was engraved using a QR code that links to the digital element in the Space Key.

Each of the five Space Keys will feature a separate moment that occurs a few seconds apart as the Lamborghini Ultimae lifts off toward the stars. More than 600 million pixels up each of the five images, that were taken by photographer Fabian Oefner.

Oefner utilized an inflatable camera that had an lens to take individual images, which were then combined into the final photo. The result is a picture that is out of this world. It captures the beauty of Earth and the futuristic, hyperrealistic view of a car rising from the Earth. The Space Keys will be auctioned off in the near future, but the exact date and location of the event haven't been revealed yet.

The auction

With the slogan "to the moon', the prestigious automobile manufacturer Lamborghini has entered the world of non-fungible tokens (NFT) by launching a hypnotic project created in collaboration with NFT PRO(tm).
